The Story So Far

Over the past several months, you’ve followed M.A.R.I.A’s journey.

You’ve learned how she was created, how she learned, how she joined the Alera Health team, and even what it’s like for her to work alongside humans. Through each chapter, M.A.R.I.A has shared her story in her own voice, introducing readers to a different way of thinking about healthcare data, analytics, and the role artificial intelligence can play in supporting providers.

But now it’s time to step outside the story.

Because M.A.R.I.A is real.

Why M.A.R.I.A Was Created

M.A.R.I.A, short for Medical Analysis Research Intelligent Assistant, is Alera Health’s AI Research Assistant built within the ONEinsight platform. She was developed to help providers, executives, care teams, and healthcare leaders navigate increasingly complex population health data and turn information into action.
